In order to apply, applicants must:

  3. Be an Ontario resident

  4. Be available for:

  • Four two-hour training workshops between July 12 - Aug 5.

  • Ability to work full-time on production for 1 month between September 7 - October 1. This production will take place in on location an hour and a half from Toronto where mentees will be required to remain at production accommodations for the duration of the production. Lodging and accommodation will be provided in addition to your wages.

Application

Interested applicants must fill out an application form, submit a resume/CV and a link to an example of any related work (portfolio, project, sample, reel, short film, theatre piece, etc.).

As part of the application, applicants must indicate which of the five departments they wish to work in and outline how their experience, skills and/or knowledge relates to the roles and responsibilities of that department. In other words, if you donโ€™t have experience working in the desired department, tell us about any related experience and/or skills that make you suitable for working there.

If you are unsure of the function and operations of these departments, we encourage applicants to do research. One great resource can be found in the site Screen Skills. We have provided the following links to their fantastic description of each mentor role.

To prepare the best application possible, we strongly encourage you to continue your research!
